Hi!
Today, I won't be sharing with all of you stories of my life, because I got something else to do. I have to do a summary of "The Drovers", so, here it is...
The drovers had to overcome the problem of the long
journey and provide enough food for the cattle. He had to rely on food that
could be found along the way. He had to have a great skill of manoeuvring and
had to ride on horseback to check and redirecting the cattle on the right track
and also be extremely careful that the cattle did not stray into private
property. He must be on look – out for farms and blow a horn to warn the
farmers so that the cattle won’t mix up. The drover had to control a large herd
and has to cope with bands of robbers who might attack him and the cattle. A
good drover have an intimate knowledge of temperament of his animals just to
know how far and how fast they can go, because the cattle must not be
overdriven, keep the cattle in prime condition and compete with another drovers
for the best prices.
p/s: got tons of works to be done, but I already sleepy now.
